Land Nav Assistant 2.2

Land Nav Assistant is a versatile app that aids in navigation by accepting MGRS (Military Grid) or Latitude/Longitude coordinates and guiding you visually to each point.

This application was specifically developed with the needs of Army, Marine, and other military personnel in mind. It serves as a valuable tool for improving your Land Nav technique by analyzing factors such as pace count and tendency to veer left and right.

The app supports a variety of input formats, including 8 digit MGRS, 10 digit MGRS, Lat/Lon decimal, Lat/Lon dms, and map input. It also offers options to customize angles (degrees or mils), distance (meters/km or feet/miles), and speed (kph or mph).

You can navigate using the simple arrow interface or through the map view, which provides a clear visual representation of your locations. As you navigate, the app displays crucial information such as distance, direction, speed, and bearing.

If you need to obtain coordinates for a specific location, simply long-tap on the map and the app will provide you with the corresponding coordinate. Additionally, you can easily add new locations through the Map interface.

The app offers useful features for planning your course. You can order points to create a customized route or use the course optimization tool to calculate the shortest path possible.

For easy reference, you can tap on the drawn path between two points to quickly obtain their distance and direction. The app also provides various maps including Satellite, Terrain, Road, and basic Topographic maps.

With Land Nav Assistant, you have the option to overlay a 1000m or 100m MGRS grid onto the map for enhanced visualization.

The app conveniently displays distance and direction from your current location to all points, or between any two points you select.

Downloading your locations as a spreadsheet allows for easy access and sharing with others.

The app utilizes the Military Grid Reference System (MGRS) and Latitude/Longitude for accurate positioning. It offers customizable display options for your locations, allowing you to choose between MGRS 10-digit, MGRS 8-digit, or LatLon Decimal.
